FLOWER MARKET - Rose Blossom Blog Hop

Welcome to another fun Blog Hop. If you've hopped over from Cathy's Blog "These Eager Hands" you probably saw some amazing artwork and you are going in the right direction.

This Hop features Close To My Hearts new Cricut Cartridge FLOWER MARKET.

All I can say is WOW!  This cartridge is by far one of my favorites.  This brand new collection features blooms and blossoms for every season of life. All of the designs feature botanical details of some kind, from flowers and leaves to branches and wreaths. Designed to span an entire year's worth of themes and occasions, this collection features shapes for holidays, cardmaking, and everyday scrapbooking.
Collection includes the following:
1 – cartridge (700 images: shapes, layers, banners, borders, titles, and font)
3 – My Acrylix D-size stamp sets
1 – Adventure cardstock combo pack

This is my creation using a few of the many Flower Market's lovely flowers.  Plan to display this in a black frame.   This piece is simple but packed full of love and memories.

It was fun to use the "Paper of the Year" SEA GLASS along with some of the other new beautiful rich colors.

Another great feature that Flower Market has is it's sentiments.  So many different words for any occasion.  I chose Beautiful Life because it says it all.

Another fun little card using the little coffee cup & leaf shapes from the FLOWER MARKET cartridge.

You can find everything right HERE on my website.

Thanks for hopping along. Your next stop is Kristine's Blog "Merry Heart Creations" where I'm sure you will see something beautiful.

TIME TO MEET MAGICAL

Welcome to the July 15th Blog Hop!

If you "hopped" over here from Morgan's TweetSCRAPS Blog, I'm sure you saw some amazing artwork and you are on the right track.

Magical is absolutely it's name..."MAGICAL" .  Such adorable paper which can be used for many different projects...not just Disney related.  The complements are just perfect to pull everything together.

This layout was designed for my June Class and the girls loved it.  Izzy, Tyson and Vincent had such a great time along with Mom & Dad.  Swimming, boating, tubing, fun on the sand bar, grilling, smores....the whole works. They even saw a Momma Turtle lay eggs and bury them in the sand...right on our campsite.  We marked the spot so we are very careful to step around that area.

This next layout is a continuation of our fun family weekend at the lake.   Lot's of white space with a few water color splats are a great combination with this adorable paper.  The Cricut Artbooking cartridge was used to make the "fun & sun" title.

Here's an extra little card made with this amazing paper and a PML card to make it quick and easy. Added white twine & a couple embellishments and there you go.

Supplies Used:

Magical Paper Pack
Magical Complements
Poppy Thick Twine
White Twine
Calypso Sequins
Beautiful You PML
Watercolor Paints
Paintbrush set
Cranberry, Honey and White Daisy Cardstock
Cricut Artbooking Cartridge

Many of these items will be going away soon.  Don't miss out...you can order by clicking on the "Shop with Me" tab on the right, or clicking on this LINK .

The next stop on the HOP is Brenda's Rose Blossom Legacies  Blog. You will love Brenda's artwork.  Always a treat to see what she has created.

Thanks for stopping by the Playground.  Hope to see you again soon!

HURRY - Seasonal Expressions 1 About to End

Did you know that our awesome Seasonal Expressions 1 catalog is due to end on April 30th?   What does this mean??  This means that most items in this catalog will no longer be available after April 30th.  Here are a few of the items that will carry over.

If you haven't already met Charlotte, here she is and she's absolutely beautiful paper!

This is a layout using Charlotte & Charlotte Complements

This is our newest Granddaughter Charlee.  Her newborn pictures were a perfect match with this lovely paper.

These are the actual close ups of the paper pack and complements.

Here is a wedding card using a Fold Design

Used a Zip strip from the top of a B&D Duos paper to create a "Mini" Belly Band.  Each B&D Duos paper has these strips in a variety of coordinating colors and sentiments.  They add so much accent to your layouts and projects.

Included in each paper pack are 2 - 12 x 12 pages of Picture My Life cards that can be cut out and used on your pages or projects.  I took advantage of them with this card.

Card fully opened

Love card and a lined card to write the sentiment

IT'S ALL ABOUT CRICUT CARTRIDGES

It's time once again to Hop around the Rose Blossom Blog Hop. If you've come from Morgan's TweetSCRAPS Blog, you on going in the right direction.  I'm sure you've enjoyed her gorgeous artwork.

This time we are featuring the Close To My Heart Cricut Cartridges.  We had the choice of using any one of the five amazing cartridges to create our project.  I've chosen to use the Art Philosophy Cartridge to create some pretty flowers to go on a piece of home décor.

My Dear Friend had a milestone birthday this year and I wanted to make her something that would be a keepsake.  Her 85 year "young" Mom visited her and her hubby in Florida in February of this year.  Hubby was able to send me a few pictures of their adventures during her stay.  I chose this picture as it included all three of them at a Marina. My paper choice is Regatta and Regatta Complements . It is a perfect paper pack as it is all about a nautical theme.  This artwork is glued to a piece of chipboard and then glued to an 8 x 8 Canvas using Liquid Glass.

Here are a couple close-ups of the flowers.

The flowers were so fun to create. Some were made using the Paper Fundamentals Enchantment paper pack and some were made with Ruby and Sunset cardstock.

You can find all the supplies to create this project on MY WEBSITE HERE .

Your next Hop on the path is Kristine's Merry Hearts Creations Blog .  I know you will love what she has created!

Thanks for stopping into the Playground.  Hope to see you again soon.

If you've hopped over from the very talented Cathy's Blog These Eager Hands
I'm sure you've seen something beautiful and you are going in the right direction.  Just hop along to each of the Blogs to see our different ideas using this adorable Stamp Set.

Not only will you get a high-quality, swoon-worthy stamp set by taking part in this promotion, but Close To My Heart will also donate $7 USD of the proceeds from this stamp set to Operation Smile™, an amazing organization that provides surgeries to repair cleft lips and palates for children all over the world!

When I saw this Stamp Set, I immediately thought of the colorful paper-pack Kaleidoscope and Kaleidoscope Complements along with a photo of our #4 Granddaughter Chloe.  Chloe is a Free Spirited, happy little girl who is full of life and energy.  She called me to tell me all about the Birthday Party she had with her friends and Daddy's side of the family.  Mom took a picture for me and it's just perfect for this layout.  Most days she either has 4 layers of clothes on with one boot, or she has just her undies on....she is quite the colorful little girl.

Here's a close up of the sentiment. I scrap-lifted this idea from my dear friend KT and added a little hash tag title.

Whether in the planner or on their own, these cards make it easy to preserve your everyday moments all year long. Get yours today for only $8.95 before this offer is gone!

I've decided to use a few of the Live Your Day pocket cards to create this layout.  These cards have endless possibilities.  You can use them vertically or horizontally as the same design is on each side of the card. I cut the HELLO from one of the cards to layer on top of another card.

La Vie En Rose paper pack and complements and the Stamp of The Month, Beloved Bouquet quickly became friends with the Live Your Day cards.  A great combination to preserve this memory. (I have to confess that the stamping of the weeds along the bottom of the layout was completely inspired by our own Brenda Rose in her last Blog Hop post)
