FIRST post to my new BLOG. Still needs a lot of tweeking, but wanted to get a post going. A couple of my favorite things completed at a Scrapbook Retreat at Pines Craft Retreat in East Bethel, MN. So many talented girls were there sharing their ideas and techniques. What a wonderful weekend spent creating!!
Pennant Frame with Balloon Ride paper & embellies. The paper worked perfectly with the picture. The Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge helped to cut the flowers on daisy white cardstock. I decided on lagoon and sorbet ink to create these flowers. Also used crystal blue ink for the stamp sentiment. Love how the Close To My Heart Stamps coordinate with their cartridges.
Love these colors together. Embossing folder Quatrefoil on the background paper.
You could also sand this paper for a more textured look. A paper doily in white was something different so I stamped it with denim blue ink using the Love Doily Stamp Set. Again used the Art Philosophy Cartridge to make flowers. Honeycomb Stamp set was a perfect addition to this card. Inked with Sorbet, Outdoor Denim and Crystal Blue. A little bit of lots of color and technique.
Hope to see ya'll soon on the Pixie Dust Playground!
