This is a big circle of crafters who love Close To My Heart and everything you can create with their amazing products. On the agenda today, we are showcasing Close To My Heart's 'AWESOME' Paper Fundamental's.  These are absolutely beautiful paper packs. No matter what you decide to create with this paper...it all matches so well and there are also matching sticker packs and assortments which add so much.

These pictures are from our Labor Day Weekend at the Lake.  Mom (who is 84 years young) was so pleased to be able to drive 'herself' to our resort which is located about an hour south of where she lives.  Our kids and their kiddo's were there as well.  We had such a great time and Mom really enjoyed spending time with her Great Grands as well as her Grands. Cherish these memories of her visit.

Because of all the pictures, the CTMH Flip Flaps were the first thing I thought of.  This two page layout with the Flip Flaps worked perfect for this memory. (Beware....shots of this are not the best - hard to photograph without glare on the Flip Flaps)

Just a Little "Twinkle"

 

Guess what time it is??  It's the 1st of October and time for the Rose Blossom Blog Hop!

I'm so glad you took time to pop in to see our creations.  If you've come from Morgan's "Tweetscraps" Blog, you have no doubt seen some beautiful artwork and you are on the right path.  This is one big circle of creativity.

This is what happens when "Twinkle" meets "Sangria".  Yes.....Christmas can be other colors than red and green when you use your imagination.

 

This two page layout was so fun to design and put together.  Since the pictures have a bit different hues to them than the actual colors of Sangria,  I will post the actual paper from my website at the end so you can see just how gorgeous it is.

Paper Garden Fun

September is slowly coming to and end and so will the beautiful Stamp of The Month Paper Garden.

 

 

 This card was made with Paper Garden along with the compatible Close to My Heart Cricut Cartridge Artistry. This stamp set is soon becoming a favorite of mine.  The sentiment was stamped with one of the sets that are included in the Artistry package.

 

 

I used a few new Ink Colors Pomegranate, Peacock and Eggplant along with Archival Black.  The paper is from the paper pack La Vie En Rose....added a little Poppy Thick Twine bow and it's ready to send to someone.

Paper Garden Fun

WELCOME to the 1st of the month Rose Blossom Blog Hop.  We are one big circle of crafters who love to share our passion for Close To My Heart products.  If you hopped over from Cathy's Blog These Eager Hands you are headed in the right direction.  I'm sure you have seen some very creative artwork. 

September is HERE and so is the awesome Stamp of The Month "Paper Garden".  WOW...this stamp set is beautiful!  So many possibilities to create lovely cards or layouts.  Not only is this a set of 9, those with the red outline are compatible with The Cricut Artiste Cartridge.   The little background stamp is a perfect accent to any card or layout you are working on.

 

For today's layout, I've used the negative side of the Artiste flower strip and slipped in some Paper Fundamentals "Enchantment" pieces behind the flower.  I'm so crazy about this colorful, rich paper design. The actual cuts were stamped with a flower from The Paper Garden set using some of the gorgeous new ink colors.

Meet Artistry!!

 

Welcome a bit late to the Rose Blossom August 15th Blog Hop. We were at the lake this weekend and I sadly found out I couldn't upload to my Blog due to internet issues....as I mentioned to our group...note to self - do not wait until day of HOP to post.  If you have hopped over from our talented Cathy's Blog These Eager Hands, you have seen something amazing I'm sure.

 

On to our Blog Hop Showcasing the TOTALLY AWESOME Cricut Artistry Collection. You will absolutely love this versatile cartridge with 700 images, Shapes, Layers, Banners, Borders, Background and an adorable font.  It also includes 3 My Acrylix D size Stamp Sets and on top of that an Enchantment Cardstock Combo Pack.  Such a great deal. 

 

 

Today I used the Zoe Paper and Complements to create a canvas project and a two page layout.

 

 

 

 

 

This canvas is for our Grandaughter Chloe Catherine.  She is going to have a new baby sister in November and will soon be moving to a new bedroom close to her brother's room.  Grammie made this for her new room to keep on her dresser.  Those flowers from the cartridge really caught my eye and the wheels started turning.  The stamp and complements are so fun as well.

 

Next in line is a two page layout of an awesome memory made with our family.   This was our very first time tubing and Beau, Chloe, Mom & Dad were there to enjoy our Maiden Tube Voyage. 

 

 

 

 

It was so fun to use the Artistry Cartridge for this layout.  The Font is beyond adorable and the background and layers were so fun to use.

 If you have followed along with other Rose Blossom Hops, you will notice that my heart leans a lot towards layouts.  In my world, it is so important to preserve your memories on paper and have them for many years to come.  This is what I envisioned when I saw this awesome stamp set:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It was so fun to create this 2 page layout. The sentiment on this stamp set will be a great fit for so many layouts or cards.  It tells it's own story and I love that about this set.  I paired the SOTM with the stamp set Wavy Blooms.  Coloring with our ShinHan Markers really added some pop to the flowers.  The Archival Black Ink on the white cardstock worked well and also the White Ink on black cardstock gave it a chalkboard look. 

 

My husband and I just celebrated our 36th Year of Marriage this June.  We have made some pretty awesome memories over the years and I'm so blessed with our lives together.  Family means so very much to me and Close To My Heart makes it so easy to preserve our Family memories.
